NSERC CREATE Grant: QuantOmics

Dr. Naimul Khan is the Principal Investigator of QuantOmics, Canada’s first integrated training pipeline bridging quantum nanotechnology, genomic data science, and AI-driven medicine — funded through an NSERC CREATE grant.

The program trains highly qualified personnel across three interconnected domains: quantum biosensor design, genomics signal integration, and AI-powered therapeutic design. Over six years, QuantOmics will train 93 HQP at the undergraduate through postdoctoral levels, across six partner universities including TMU, McGill, Queen’s, Université Laval, University of Saskatchewan, and University of Toronto. Industry partners include C2MI, Novavax, and Ontario Genomics.
