New Frontiers in Research Fund Award: Therapeutic VR for Children on the Spectrum

Dr. Naimul Khan has been awarded a $250,000 New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRF) Exploration Award to develop dynamic therapeutic VR experiences for children on the autism spectrum.
The project is a collaboration with Wellwave Inc. and the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital โ Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation hospital. The research will focus on creating adaptive, personalized VR interventions that respond to real-time physiological and behavioural sensing to maximize therapeutic benefit.
