Post-Doctoral Fellow — Kids Help Phone AI Project We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our collaboration with Kids Help Phone on developing an agentic AI framework for training frontline mental health support workers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in large language models, agentic AI systems, or NLP, with an interest in applying these methods to mental health and social impact domains. MASc (Master of Applied Science) Open to qualified domestic applicants (Canadian citizens or permanent residents). We encourage applications at any time. Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications for the Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate program at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Undergraduate Research Assistants We hire several undergraduate RAs each year for industry-partnered initiatives. These positions provide hands-on experience in AI and multimedia signal processing. Applicants must maintain a CGPA of A− or above.

Graduate students are typically funded through a combination of NSERC grants, teaching assistantships, and internal scholarships. We strongly encourage strong applicants to apply for external awards including NSERC CGS-M, NSERC CGS-D, OGS, and Vanier.
